What would you consider old anime?

for me anything which got old animation is considered old lol
or may be anime from 90s? what about you lot?
 
Unless were talking some really badly done south park looking stuff sure. And personally I like the older hand drawn anime cells better.

most of the anime these days have really vivid facial features and better quality

That is all true but they don't have the same feel to them that the older hand drawn cells do. You just don't see the artists personality or their love and dedication with CG. There are some artists that use digital tablets and can achieve that quality but not many. And maybe It's that I'm biased because I draw freestyle with a sketch pad and pens and pencils but no matter how vivid and detailed it looks if I can't feel the artist's emotions and see their personality in the work it's soulless and empty to me

i think i understand lol.
artistic sense is not in me but i just can't appreciate art that's not beautiful if you know what i mean. it's just my preference and bias lol

Art like beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It's all about what you like and how it makes you feel.
