Today I have connected my phone to my mini laptop.
The speed was horrible but when I am browsing using my phone, it's fast.
Is there something wrong with my network?

In general is normal for pages to load faster on  mobile as usually they won't call many scripts and the size of data is smaller to accommodate rather than the full version.

Hmm... If the wait is abnormally long,  my guess is that it could be related to your browser extensions / add-ons. Maybe someone else knows better.

Are you loading the exact same pages on your phone as your laptop? Again as mentioned, for phones many websites will load a more mobile friendly version which is made to load faster.

though the best way to see what is faster is do a speed test (just type it into google and click on the first link and run the test)

I never got any alert for this.
Well try restarting  the computer, star.
It would usually do the trick and do not keep the computer in sleep for long
