What is a niche cliche in anime that you don't particularly like?

For me that would be protagonist, taking down the main antagonist of the series.
Support characters are not allowed to do that in action genre.

What's happening around animé movie series is simply what's happening in real human movie series, where best friends betray each other, and protagonist halting the antagonist.

Main protagonist fight against his friend
Main protagonist beaten up black and blue by his friend while convincing his friend to get back to his old self
