What is a general consensus on anime that most people can call good and why?

Idk, anime covers every genre known to mankind and ones you’ve never heard of, so unless there’s a show that has a ton of crossover appeal, then yeah, you’re going to get a lot of detractors.

and people try to put so much money on advertising alone and that makes a lot of difference too
