What if L got the death note?

He's the most boring guy to get a Death Note, he's not believing in supranatural so most likely he'll just observing Ryuk and the book, maybe he'll use it once but that's all. He won't do something crazy

I could see him using it to see if it was true or not, though not sure if he would use it directly or have some pawn use it. But he would see to it being locked up or destroyed.

he will ignore and if he knows it got the power, he will destroy it
