What happened to the URL?

I typed onepieceforum.net and then I was redirected to this URL.
Even though it is another URL, the forum, my account everything is the same as always.
So, what is this change?
Did I miss something big?
 
One Piece Forum has been changed to Anime Manga Forum..........To avoid inconvenience, opf redirects to AMF...........Check Announcements section for more info........

Now the onepieceforum.net says "something cool will be here". It doesn't redirect anymore.
Now I will have to bookmark this URL.

We are not convinced.
Why don't you provide us a link to that beforehand announcement?
