What do you think of a person who've watched +2000 anime?

I'd consider them an expert for sure, 2000 would be a super impressive number to achieve. I dont think I could even name 1000 animes :v

Honestly, if I ever watched that many anime shows, I would quite literally not have any life. Only way I can see someone watching that many, is that either they didn't care about doing anything else, or didn't have to work.

I would say they are addicted to anime and they must be really old too. I have watched only a handful of anime and I am no expert but I would love to see that many

Personally, I don't think that there is anything wrong with it or is it because it's anime? What about people who's watched more than 5000 movies? Do they look wired?

If they’re somewhat older and have been watching anime for a really long time, sure whatever. If they’re pretty young, then they def don’t have a life.

Though to be fair, using a site like MAL could exaggerate the number. With many series having multiple seasons that aired separately as opposed to non-stop, each season is a separate entry. Also each time there’s an OVA (unless it’s like an OVA series or season), that’s also a separate entry for each OVA. So a series with 4 seasons and 6 OVA’s is now considered 10 different anime, easily inflating the number.

Same, i've only just gotten over 50 anime! 2000+ is weird (but for some reason i want to do it)

Yeah I prefer them that way...I hate when the story is to short.
I think the shortest I ever read other than one with 5 chapters was around 50 chapters.
It doesn't make sense that I dedicate my time to something that doesn't captivate my attention lol
