What do you think about historical series?

they are cool if they are executed correctly
otherwise there is no point to watching them and i like ruroni kenshin a lot
 
if done right they're amazing, if they were "Inspired" by historical events that's good too.

but they make it look different these stories a lot different than when compared to original

Kingdom is a good example while it may have been exagerated for content's sake it is still one of the most accurate ones i've read.

I also read Kingdom, no complaint here it's awesome. I see your point, so it's better to stick to historical accuracy

have you seen gintama? it's laughable and i think that's because it's a gag anime.
