What do you guys think of dubbing movies?

Their dialogues don't match either. ... Not to mention that they give off some weird feeling.
So what do you guys think?
Do you like them?
 
Its very rare to see the emotions portrayed in the dub.. You know.. But japanese original is dope

I don't think she is talking about Japanese stuff. Even in our states we see local movies getting dubbed all the time.

Hmm.. Well.. Anything feels real when its in the native language.. Dubs don'tgive away the same vibe as the original ones.

Whoa there...I am talking about dubbed movies like... Aaru, Telugu to Tamil and vice versa. I have been listening to this song from veedokkade...pela pela Mani...
It's really good and it left me surprised

Yup. Local movies. Well over here, as there are many languages, it does happen often. I have watched English movies in my local language and they are weird.

Umm.. As I said in my reply to star.. Native language gives the true vibe.. Not the dubbes ones.. Be it songs, movies or series.. Its not that i dont like dubs.. Like when Hollywood movies are dubbed to tamil and even the most serious scenes are translated comically which I enjoy.. But I do upvote the original language cause it portrays the true happenings.

Hehe yeah but some songs even though they are from a dubbed movie are really good.
I bet it's a translation from Tamil.. The song that I was talking about in my previous post.

I'd rather watch a good dub than a movie or subtitles to be honest. It makes no sense whatsoever to focus at the bottom of the screen instead of focusing whatever you are watching. I get annoyed by this plenty of times in anime.

I do know that.. Its just you don't know the language and you know.. Dont you nod your head to just the rythm.. The awesome beat even though you dont know what the lyric means or the singer says? Cause I do that.. Lyrics dont matter to me much.. The beat is good and I am in .....

Why you do think of it as romance songs in the first place anyway.. Like, just admire the voice of the singer, the vibe it gives and the refreshing feel you get when you hear it..

When I like something...I would want to learn the lyrics.
My mom and some other family members loves my voice... So I sing for them often.
I really don't like listening to stuff that I can't sing

So what? Learn lyrics.. Omit knowing the meaning behind it, duh.

Am clueless as to why ya loathe it.. But some of the songs.. Has the best lyrics and the meaning tho.. Its dope. You can connect love with anybody.. Frnds, family ...not just lovers.. So..

Hmm.. Your welcome :). Yep, since you sing and all, I sort of imagine how sweet it can be.. And if you still do singing, don't stop.. Keep doing it :). Helps you when you feel lonely at times.. Maybe I said that cause I do that.. My voice while singing only will give ear bleeds to the ppl listening.. But in general, its kind of rough and deep..

Keep practicing and you will do just fine. My mom said that I can mimic any song...and I am really good with English songs. Hehe...I never expected that at all.
