I didn’t bother reading the light novels to fill the gap. The official English novels didn’t catch up yet, and I can’t stand reading fan translated light novels, since they feel like I’m reading a gamefaqs guide from 2003.

Fan translation wouldn't be perfect and they tend to put their own comments, sometimes

I’m okay with fan translated manga, because to me it doesn’t change the format. It doesn’t change much mentally when I read a fan translated manga on my phone or iPad vs reading an officially translated one. Light novels don’t cut it for me, since I feel like I’m scrolling through a word doc, or gamefaqs guide, as opposed to an official ebook where I can still flip pages and stuff.

most of the time i read books with epub or mobi format and i need to scroll down for them. so i never noticed this before
