Weekend anime watching

Yeah I'm probably going to watch this anime called Patlabor. It's some old-school mecha anime. 

And then watch Paprika directed by satoshi kon.
 
Never heard of the first anime but I have heard of paprika.
How did you pick that anime? Based on the reviews?
 
Becuase Mamoru Oshii was involved with it. He directed movies like Ghost in the Shell, although I like Patlabor too. It's just interesting because it's somewhat philosophical, especially the OVA's and movies. The stories typically cover a group of police force that deal with everyday crime.

Then I take it that you have already watched it. How would you rate it?
 
Weekends and holidays. I mean, you can technically finish a 12 episode anime(most anime are 12-13 episodes anway) in 4 hours so you can watch it in weekdays, but I don't really binge the entire thing at once. I watch 5 episodes at once, and switch over to another anime, usually a long-running show, which right now is Fairy Tail.

Aren't you watching diamond no ace collectively as Of now?
Is fairy tail still ongoing?
 
I do only because of the toonami block on Saturday nights on the CN channel. Which is roughly about 4-5 hours of anime that I'm watching.

No it got over last year and the final season starts next year. I started it in September and there's 35 episodes left (277 episodes totally).
I may watch dia no ace but I'm not sure I have a lot of other anime to finish. First I've to finish FT first.
 
I haven't I've been watching/reading less due to babysitting but as soon as i can i'm going to binge watch/read ;)

Not if vacation starts in 2 days. It's like ~15 hours. I'll probably finish it in 3-4 days. I always like to have a long running anime in hand. I'm gonna start Gintama after this, since its final season starts next year too.
 


not really, if you watch 2 or more episodes a day it wouldn't take a person long. I tend to watch anime while I eat so I can finish a series rather quickly by watching 2-3 episodes a day.
 
i read manga more during weekends when i don't have any special shift. but i often have sunday shift at night which is a pain in the a##
i like reading manga and watching anime if i get time.
