is there such a main protagonist?
i am not talking about gag anime here and just genuine action anime.
 
Not that I know of man.
I know support characters being weak like Usopp but not the main protagonist like you said.
 
I don't know man.
Would I watch a protagonist who is running all the time? The obvious answer is no.

I don't think it's that bad man.
It's a little different and almost the first of it's kind to get so much popularity.
 
I don't think the plot is executed well in that anime
If anything, all the plot holes destroy the feel of the anime. No wonder people says Log Horizon is better than SAO.
 
i wouldn't agree with that completely kaname
log horizon is good but recently i have watched sao a little and it's not bad.
 
Not many liked Asuna character man.
She was underrated and it's always about Kirito saving the day.

Don't you know how this could be just another overpowered protagonist anime?
 
it could be treated like that
but it's different and i think you have a point for overpowered but the antagonist is something else.

They are all overpowered and I think everything started with Dragon Ball Z
 
You are forgetting about One punch man.
Don't you know just how strong that man is? He can take on Goku.
