Violet evergarden episodes 12-14 discussion

I have completed this anime yesterday. Looks like we got the closure in episode 13. Episode 14 is like a movie of sorts.
All in all it's been a good watch.
 
I liked the ending man.
Writing a letter to themselves is hard and it's a great way to relieve stress. Violet had done it and I like the overall plot too
 
It's good blackrose.
But I wouldn't give it a rating better than 7, to be honest. May be I just expected too much from it

don't you feel bad for violet having to lost his lover at a young age?
she might never be able to fall in love again and it breaks my heart

Not really.
It's too popular and when everyone talks about something, you would think highly of it but unfortunately, it is that easy to get disappointed as well.
 
Didn't like 12 and 13 all that much. Went back to the contrived writing style of the first few episodes and the action scenes were pretty stupid.
I liked 14 a lot though, reminded me of 7-11 and written well.

I do agree but for an anime like that, there wouldn't be a very good ending.I never expected that major's brother to acknowledge Violet at all.
It's a surprise to me.

you are feeling very down from this anime. it's a good anime and she lost him at a young age but there is a whole life ahead of her. she can be her own person without getting anymore orders from anyone. even if they make a sequel it wouldn't be good.

I guess but there is a possibility of it being just as good also, depending on how it is made

i want her to find love again, if there is a sequel to this.
i don't want her life to be filled with loneliness and longing for the major she could never have

I agree.
I also believe that that would be the best plot for a sequel. She should find love and happiness

i agree and this time he should be with her and make her happy.
she is too beautiful and it's hard to see her in pain always

Yes. He should be someone that understands her and allows her to move at her own pace in discovering the true nature of these new feelings

but he got that major's looks. he might even replace his brother a little if he understood violet.
he is thinking violet as a tool and didn't think much of her

I guess but even so I still don't like him and I don't believe that he can ever change
