Unfair treatment to the Prince of all Saiyans

This is about Vegeta. 

In Dragon Ball Super Vegeta get more appreciation from Akira Toriyama. Still a sandbag and loser, but he get more attention and treat better than in Dragon Ball Z. What do i mean by that? Okay here it is..

I want to focus at the end of DBZ. Vegeta is the only Saiyan that have weakest transformation. Goku have Super Saiyan 3, Gohan have Ultimate/Mystic form, well Vegeta is still stuck with Super Saiyan 2. If there is a battle royal between them you can guess who goes down first

Now about Goten and Trunk, this is a bit tricky. Of course those brats only Super Saiyan 1 but with Gotenk fusion they can reach Super Saiyan 3. Again, Vegeta surpassed. Add Gotenk to the battle royal then Vegeta will get more embarrassed

Everyone surpassed him on Z. Lucky he is very popular, so on Super he get better treatment
 
do you think he deserves more and more popularity?
he is not the main protagonist and you can't think he could get much attention as he holds a good rank
 
I do agree he isn't being handled very well. He has a long to bring to the table from being a royal family member to someone being the most wanting to get stronger.

I've heard that Akira Toriyama used to dislike him, i think that's the reason why he get unfair treatment
