I dropped this. 13 episodes of exposition with one good episode in between. Literally nothing but episodes after episodes of characters sitting around and literally narrating plot points with the most boring voice acting ever. Only saving grace was the neat art, the sometimes good animation and Yuki Kajiura's soundtrack.

Good to hear Yuki has good OST in this, but from the sounds of it you're describing Log Horizon to me in a bad way.

That's a hard disagree for me. Log Horizon for one definitely doesn't have pseudo-science with souls involved. And also doesn't use rape as a way to drive the plot forward, which has been used thrice in this series(third time being this season).
Besides there's a difference between exploration and analysis of the game mechanics of an RPG, and sitting around and narrating the plot when you are so incompetent that you can't present it in a difficult way.
I suppose you and I are always gonna be at odds when it comes to Log Horizon.

Nah, I'm just saying it in regards to you saying with characters sitting around and just talking. LH's last season mostly felt like that.

I've mentally blocked LH Season 2 so I didn't think of it. Yeah LH season 2 is pretty bad.

I don't think many people are still crazy about this anime man.
I for one don't plan to watch it
