Okay so i just read this scene in my recently read manga : a naive girl get tricked and nearly have to get 100 millions yen debt. Somehow she managed to get help and turn the table, the one who tricked her now forced to have 100 millions yen debt. She feel sorry for the one who tricked her and gift him prize money of 100 millions yen to pay his debt
I was like.. what the hell. I highly doubt if he win 100 millions yen, he will not think about her at all, so why??
Come to think of it.. this kind of plot somehow common in anime/manga. The main protagonist beaten up so badly, somehow he managed to turn the table and just give forgiveness to the villain out of nowhere. I just find out that this is kinda annoying, like.. 'heyyy.. those villain are not having second thought of killing you, and you just let them go just like that??'
I think.. this is how anime/manga depicted good and evil, the good always good and the evil always evil. Like i said this is annoying to me, it's just not realistic to me, i mean.. not very 'human', it's not like the main protagonist is literally a prophet that have mission to spread kindness and peace to the entire world
I do realized that it most likely be the author want to relay the moral of 'to forgive' but it feels too much for me. Well this plot is used not just in one or two series, so this must be liked by people and widely accepted, in the end it's just me easily getting annoyed haha..
