Because of @"MadaraUchiha"   I saw this movie today. Wow....I really didn't expect a good plot to be honest. It's about some homeless people trying to get a baby to it's mother. It's really moving and I felt really bad when gin got beat up for nothing!
Why are people so cruel?
Stupid humans!

I don't remember recommending this to you, or even talking about it. I haven't even watched it, after all.
It's only in my radar because it's directed by Satoshi Kon.

What.. but you were talking about godfather right? When I searched for that in Google I came across this!

Huh... Seriously?
You know that I don't watch normal movies all that much.... They are just meh... To me.
I will think of watching it sometime :/

I'm not recommending it to you. It's emotional and doesn't have mercy on anyone. Also it's 3 hours long.

I've never heard of it, is it like an asian version of the Godfather movie series?

No she hasn't heard of the Godfather movie series itself unfortunately. It's an anime movie, actually, directed by Satoshi Kon, the guy who directed Perfect Blue and Paprika.

Ookay. I take it that it's not good for me.
Hmm...thanks. Then I will have to skip watching it then.

I watched this today since a lot of people told me that it has the "Christmas" spirit, with a few friends online. It was very good, very moving. One surprising thing about it is that the dialogue is lip-synced, which is never seen in anime. And it's a Madhouse film, so the animation is amazing, and it's visually crazy(due to Satoshi Kon, obviously). It could have been a bit more fast-paced in the first act, but the third act is an absolute roller-coaster and damn entertaining throughout.
Loved the film.

I remember watching this film too.
It was sad and good at the same time. I never thought homeless people get bullied like that. Well, I believe I saw something similar to that bullying even in inuyashiki too.

Yeah that and Hinamatsuri has a lot homeless people as well but I'm not sure about bullying in that.

I haven't finished watching it so, I am not so sure.
It's just that, those people do encounter too many troubles, despite all the misfortune.

Oh wow.
Finally . It's a good movie and I never thought I would like it, when I first started watching it.
I never really observed the animation though o.O

How can you not pay attention to animation, when you are watching anime? It's the first thing everyone notices.
I like good animation
