Thoughts on "you hate it because you can't understand" argument

Sometimes this is the truth
When you are not able to understand some anime plot, you wouldn't want to continue it.
So what do you all think about this?

Some arguments technically make sense, but if you make it sound childish, it doesn’t help.

I think the problem with this argument is mostly the fact it's often used in a very patronizing way. The argument itself can totally be true, though.

but usually people think they make sense lol and i am sure everyone believe their arguments are the best.
