I finished this not long ago, which focuses on a schoolgirl who gets whisked away to a land in another dimension where she slowly works on becoming queen and then learns of the struggles of her lands and of the surrounding kingdoms.

Though it shows its age, its a rather solid story which sadly both the anime and source material are left unfinished but still worth checking out.

Anyone here ever watch it?

Is it an isekai fantasy anime like Log Horizon, or a historical anime like Seirei no Moribito or Akatsuki no Yona?

I have not watched Akatsuki no Yona, but this anime reminded me more of InuYasha but more in a Chinese setting. If anything more along the lines of Fuushi Yuugi anime.

how did it resemble a chinese anime? it doesn't have any chienes clothes or the houses. for me, it looked like a samurai era

If you're just basing it off the trailer, then the Chinese palace shown at the end is all I need to say.
