The most useless deadly attack

Yea.. the most useless deadly attack. They looks cool but actually blegh..

First that come into my mind in Hiei's dari dragon. Oh wow.. yes, it certainly looks cool but this attack actually never work. The only victims of this cool looking deadly attack is Zeru and bunch of weak nameless demons. It never work on prominent characters, just name it.. Bui, Sensui, Mukuro

Second in Saga's Another Dimension (Saint Seiya). The concept of the attack is really cool.. sending opponent to another dimension, imagine that! Another dimension! But actually.. this attack is never work, name it.. Hyoga, Ikki, Shaka, everyone who get hit by this attack managed to get back to earth. Like.. wth Haha..

I don't think I have seen any anime with useless attacks like that.
It's more like the attack power reduces, with the anime progress

Yes.
I will take examples from Naruto as most of us watched it.
Shadow clone jutsu - it's supposed to be a very powerful justu but it ended up being normal later.
Sharingan - it's supposed to be very rare. But later many uchihas got it

That's not power reduction, it's called 'normalization' haha.. same thing with Super Saiyan in Dragon Ball

That because the author keep raise the bar and making the antagonist more and more stronger

i think even people are to be blamed for it.
they want to see more and more attacks from the protagonists.

take naruto. he got rasan shuriken and it's a deadly attack but it's not enough. he had to improvise it a lot.

in a way, they did that
without new and cool attacks, the shonen genre manga sales and anime viewing rate will go down.

I want to continue this.. with Shekishiki Mekai Ha from Cancer Saint Deathmask. This attack can make people's soul sent straight to Yomotsu Hirasaka (underworld), in other words.. they die. But Shiryu even without seventh sense can comeback again and again from this 'supposed to be deadly' attack lol
