First Impressions

When I first visit your forum, I see a pleasant theme and logo. Good job. I also see many forums with many discussions, which would make me want to join your forum. Overall, I get a good first impression of One Piece Forums.

Good

 Design Quality

You have many themes to choose from, which allows users to pick a theme that suits them. I recommend you keep all of them because this allows everyone to have a custom and unique forum and browsing experience. Your custom/default theme is very good, and it fits in with your niche of Anime and Manga. I recommend putting who designed your theme as a link in the footer, as I know myself I am always curious about things like that so others might be also.
Nothing extravagant, just "theme designed by ______" with their name being linked to their website, portfolio, etc.. Your "call to action box" is overlapping the logo and theme currently, you might want to move it to the lower right hand corner instead so that it won't be as distracting. Here is a screenshot explaining what I mean: http://awesomescreenshot.com/0584rtm2c6. I also do not think the text needs to be shadowed as much as it is.

Excellent

 Site Statistics

At the time of writing this review, you have 26,348 posts in 1,559 threads. Those are very good statistics, so kudos to you. You have 482 members, which isn't bad either considering the amount of posts and threads you have. You only get 5.15 threads a day, which is a little worrying. There should be way more than that, considering you average around 80 posts a day. To encourage more thread posting, you should have staff posts fresh discussions every day, and then the users will follow. You have many niche posts, which is a good sign. I would recommend condensing some of your general forums to highlight the main focus of your forum, which is One Piece.

Good

 Staff Professionalism

One Piece Forum really struggles with the area of staff professionalism. It is a big weak point that needs improving. A lot of your staffs posts are not high quality, have bad spelling and grammar, and are unprofessional. To fix this, you could write up some more strict staff guidelines that staff have to follow or they will get fired. Strict I know, but this may be the only way to get them to reform.
You could also give them some examples on how to respond to feedback, questions, and comments because I have seen a few instances of staff not being the friendliness to users (a.k.a. being rude). Another thing I recommend is for you, Clara, to be a little more active on the forum. As an admin, users expect to see you around posting a lot more than you currently do. This might be making some users inactive or not as active as they could be also.

Very Poor

 Originality

Now with your custom theme, you have a bigger chance against larger competitors, such as other OPF. When I googled "one piece", your forum is not the first one that popped up. I suggest you increase your SEO efforts, that will really help get your search engine rankings up. That will also make OPF more visible to the Anime and Manga community, which is good for both of you. Another thing they have over ou is an increased social presence on the internet.

 Site Structure

Your site structure is not terrible, but it can be improved upon. For instance, the three forums related to One Piece (Anime, Manga, and General) can all be merged. They are all related to One Piece. "Battle Zone" can be added to "Community". All the forums with in community can be merged into one big forum as well. "Advertising" and "Competitions" could be removed also, as they aren't very big or popular. If you want them to stay, merge them together also.

Poor

page-edit-icon.png
 Grammar & Spelling

As I mentioned above in the "Staff Professionalism" category, most of your staffs posts are not grammatically correct and have a lot of spelling mistakes. I understand that English may not be their first language, there are ways around that.
To remedy this, have all of your staff run their posts through a grammar and spell checker. I recommend this spell checker: https://www.jspell.com/public-spell-checker.html and this grammar checker: http://grammark.org/. Overall, One Piece Forums did poor in this section.

Very Poor

Final Remarks

With a few improvements and minor fixes, I think that One Piece Forums can continue to thrive and succeed. You are doing a great job already, so don't give up. Good luck Clara!

This is the recent review of OPF, looks like we need to work on the professionalism.
But if we do that, we might lose sight of the primary goal of OPF, which is enjoying ourselves by discussing the things, we like :D

Anyway, my dear fellow admins and mods, please check the staff section, once in a while.
:D
