The dilemma of watching an anime with an upcoming sequel

So what do you guys think?

Would you usually not pick an anime, which might get a sequel soon? Or would you be more interested in it for the same reason?
 
I don't mind it man.
It's cool to see an anime with upcoming sequels. I would like to see more of the story.
 
Back in 2018 a lot of sequels were getting released and it was a good excuse to watch anime in my watch list. It's actually a better way of trying to watch something new because you know more episodes are gonna be out soon.

That's how I watched these:
Overlord, Cardcaptor Sakura, The Seven Deadly Sins, Love, Chuunibyou and other Delusions, Saiki Kusuo, High School DxD, Full Metal Panic, Sword Art Online, Fairy Tail, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. 2018 was a great time.

i didn't think there will be so many but i thought you didn't like sao at like, madara.

I never said I did, I watched it because a spin-off SAO anime was gonna air, called Gun Gale Online. I liked the spin-off but SAO was garbage.

and that's cool. at least you are willing to give it a try even after knowing the length of the series.
