The few scenes which I saw were pretty good so I think it might be worth it..would like to finish seven deadly sins first though

i never liked the seven deadly sins anime compared to the manga, they screwed up too much imho

Slice of Life or anything that has normal life story. No extra magical power, or something. Like detective conan. I didn't liked the return of the master that much as it has some magical context.

You can check any manga site under slice of life and I'm sure those would be to your liking

You get use to it after a while, especially when you were a teaching aid and had to decipher all kinds of handwriting lol
