Taurus Aldebaran the big loser

Aldebaran is one of the Gold Saints in Saint Seiya series, he wear the Gold Taurus Cloth and said to be a formidable warrior to be feared.

The thing is.. he's actually a punching bag! We saw him get beaten so many times in entire series. First is.. he was beaten Seiya in Sanctuary chapter, then followed by beaten by Mizar Syd in Asgard chapter, then he was beaten again in the OVA, by the Ghost Warriors. In Poseidon chapter he was beaten (again!) by Siren Sorento, in Hades chapter this guy sunken lower than before, he was killed by low rank Spectre, Niobe. Okay that's it.. this guy is just get beaten in every canon chapter haha.. what a joke.

His name is redeem a bit on non-canon spin-off like Episode G and Lost Canvas (not really Aldebaran but still Taurus Saint), but still.. it was non-canon so some fans won't admit it like how Dragon Ball GT treated by some of DB fans.

Well jokes circulating among fans that Kurumada's (Saint Seiya author) girlfriend who dumped him is Taurus so he ridiculed Taurus Saint in the series haha.. but that was just rumor, for me it's a severe case of 'let's beat him to make the enemy look good'

it's in my list but i never found the time to pick it up.

and i am sure there aren't many anime like that which still continues even now.
