It seems everyone anime is (cursed?) fated to have at least one episode dedicated to its cast clad in swimsuits doing something fun or kinky fun.


Do you like these types of episodes or tend to pass on them as filler?
 
i don't like them but boys in swim trunks, that i love to see in bl. they are all adorable but i haven't seen any shonen ai anime with a beach episode.
 
I tend to pass on these types of episodes unless I'm really into the character development. Most episodes end up being fillerish anyways.
 
Some episodes are fun to watch and some episodes need to be watched like in another. The death came to them in that episode too
 
So what percentage of anime viewers are just pervs looking for fun?  Do you think that's a bad thing?  Anyway, it seems like Hentai is the pornographic anime, right?
 


Hentai is phonographic anime, where as ecchi anime is borderline hentai or just close to breaking limits it shouldn't be breaking. A lot of beach episodes come close to these said lines.

For a second,I was sure you said bleach episode are close to hentai anime and I was about to ask you, what made you say that.
 
I'm indifferent towards them. To me it's the alternative to a recap episode, where the put the plot on a break, so that they can work on later episodes.
However, the placement should be proper. The worst case is easily Ao no Exorcist. The second half obviously went to shit, and this episode was the beginning of everything.

it's not like taking a break and it's always there in any anime for fan service. that don't want to lose people

Easy to make the mixup, though bleach did keep things pretty tame.

I will watch it and hopefully it would get a decent ending unlike bleach and doesn't stop halfway. I don't want to keep on waiting for bleach to return.

A beach episode is basically a filler episode that serves as a fan-service episode and you don't really need a lot of good key frame artists to do it so my point still stands.

characters, words, backgrounds are different for each anime. how could you say that they could use the same things?

A beach is a beach what different thing do you need.
 
Ah yes the infamous beach episode, it was a bit of meme at one point that every anime had a beach episode. I don't mind them, they are ok.

all the anime have them but there are some anime which don't have them too
