Supreme Court refers plea to decriminalise homosexuality under Sec. 377 to bench

I don't want to talk about things like these but the other day I heard some of my colleagues talk about this and saying how can they even consider this..... Personally, I am glad that our country is moving forward. I know that we have many religions and languages and much more....still, most of the people are against this and I have heard some horror stories too. Finally things will change and hopefully everything will be fine.
I really hope this would be favorable. 

Any other opinions here?

I'd be really glad if it's decriminalized.

Section 377, is, by the way, a section in Indian constitution which makes homosexuality a crime against the Indian judicial system.

My closest friend ever is going to get engaged in coming August (he is gay). If this happens to work out by then, I'm just going to be so happy ;-; 

There are a lot of things actually, but for one, I have seen a lot people overcoming homophobia in real life over last two years. (Some even came out as bi or homo or pan later on XD).

I really don't want to get into details as I am not at all comfortable with anything related to....well....
Anyway, yeah hopefully they would remove that. Everyone deserves a chance and they shouldn't get punished either.
