Super Mario Bros Collection

So my SNES was collecting dust and I decided to play this. It's a collection of the original 4 games, the OG SMB, Lost Levels, SMB 2 and SMB 3. I finished the original and I'm halfway into 3. The original feels a bit samey after you cross a few worlds but SMB 3 has a lot of variety and great improvements over it. How many of you remember this all-time great classic?

Oh man, me and my family played the heck out of this collection back in the day (we didn't have money to buy many games back then), so many great memories and rage quits...

Had to rage quit a number of times lol but the payoff is very good once you actually figure out the level in SMB. The only actual challenge was the 4th level in each world where it's sort of a puzzle at times and you need to figure out the correct hole.

all of those are easy, once you start hitting the more complex levels in Super Mario World and the Lost Levels.

Skipped the Lost Levels it was always frustrating. But yeah I'm looking forward to SMW.

I did manage to beat the lost levels, but I'm pretty sure I went through a controller doing it....

I've been emulating a lot of retro games on my Android phone, stuff from SNES, N64, GameCube, DS, PS1 and PSP. But it's quite difficult to control using the touch screen so I'm planning to get a pro controller once I have enough money.

I try not to use my phone for games, not really made for it to be honest, though I have a ton on my PC.

I only play platformers from stuff that are pre-2004, since my phone has a big screen everything is smooth. For everything else I use my PC.
