Gotta say, this anime has swift character developments and good pace unlike many animes which lacks that.. Almost fucking everybody has a back story far as 7 episodes go..
Bout what happened in the story so far, the six members of Koto club aims for the national, which was Kurata's initial dream with his senpais.. First off, in order for the koto club to exist, they gathered more than 5 members and for it to function, they gotta put up a performance in front of the whole school, specially the vice president. But that guy is a road block. All the members of the club challenged the VP, that they would show their skills in a span of one month.
Satowa kinda let her guard down and she wasn't that isolated as the story progresses. Chika and Co. Somehow managed to train in that one month and tbh, they just expected the crowd to boo at them cause they weren't liked by the school community.. Just shows how easily people judge others. Not everybody who looks and acts cold are bad.. it's just the way people are.. Anyway, Chika stole the show with his awesome solo. It was a magnificent episode. All those flashbacks of him, as they play that piece.. and finally got recognized by everybody. They just fucking flipped the tables
Now comes the 7th member. Initially, I thought she would just fit in right way but nah.. I liked the way, how they have developed her character. We all have that one person who spreads rumours and breaks the relationships of other people. This girl, kurusu was one such character. The only purpose she wanted to join this club was to show how naive friendship really is. Long as you trust somebody and that person also does that mutually, then no shit can break that bond.. I like chika's character a lot. He is cold , blunt but he truly understands and cares for people around him.
In the meantime, they showed some Chika X satowa moments which was cool. Their relationship is genuine
And specially the way Chika handles things. Anyway, kurusu's attempts to break them, break the club failed. Props to club president for facing her head on. Based on Kurusu's flashback, it was to be expected though as to why she was the "crasher" in the party.
Kurata didn't bat an eye when she said, she just wanted to rip them. He was like, "Bitch, that all you wanted to talk? Dont waste my fucking time cause it seems you have lots of free time". He didn't actually say it like this but his eyes did. Tbh, kurata got his guts over the episodes. So much difference between ep 1 and ep 7. In the end, she was forgiven and other members are so nice as well. Gotta see how the club progresses with this addition. It's such an awesome anime. Do check it out cause ik you can relate it with people or the scenes cause they are a couple of life lessons.
