Sports anime vs detective anime

What do you usually prefer?
Do you like predicting things in sports anime or do you prefer to watch detective anime to predict the culprit?

Usually detective anime are dumb so I guess sports anime. Usually the matches are based on actual stuff that has happened and good sports anime do it in an entertaining way. Like Haikyuu.

I wouldn't say that with death note.
It's a good detective anime.

it's not bad and it's got good enough cases. may be kaito too

Look there's always gonna be exceptions to the normality. I liked Psycho-pass, Hyouka too.

hyouka is normal to me.
and it's not very detective-ish

Sports anime is bit dull because no matter what the protagonist team usually win, even if they lost there must be something about their losing, like.. to imorove things
And for detective anime i already give up predicting things and just enjoy the story haha..

this is no good if the main protagonists keep on losing. have you watched the anime, diamond no ace?
