So, someone tried to break into our car (and house?)

Alright, so it's my day off work and my wife and I decided we'd head out, check out some shops in a nearby suburb (just got back, in fact.) when my wife noticed some damage to her car and someone's Working With Children's Check (a photo ID, with a full name. But no address.) sitting on the ground below it.

Immediately we thought that it was more than likely the person in ID, as in they may have dropped their wallet and in the darkness from last night stupidly left their ID behind. So we were planning on going to the police about it, until my wife Facebook stalked the person on the ID and found they posted a status two hours prior about their car and house being broken into last night and their wallet being among a list of things stolen.

I've called the Police Station, and will be going in this afternoon.
We've also decided we're likely moving when our lease is up me thinks. Before now, in the five months of living here we've already been broken into once.

You should quote people by clicking on the "reply" button on the right hand side bottom of their post so that it notifies them that you replied to them :)

And so what are you going to do about it now?

Mansi: That's the funny thing. It's not even.

Madara: No, they actually did a pretty poor job.

Oh, pity....Or you can click 'quote', scroll down, click 'quote this post', and type your reply......

We're looking at moving, anyway, independent of these incidents. Likely we'll just do that.

The only problem is that we have another seven months on our lease.

Sorry you had to go through this! I was robbed at gun point in my own home two years ago just a week before Christmas. They caught me off guard as I was exercising and had my headphones on and couldn't hear anything. I didn't even hear them break the door open.

It's a weird feeling when someone opens your door and a gun at your face and you can't even hear what they are saying because you have headphones on. Now, I don't listen to music with headphones inside my home anymore, so I can hear everything and be prepared.
