Silliest Complaints You Hear in the Anime Community

A pinnacle of first world problems, was during the height of the fansub era where people cried that the subs weren’t in their preferred font.

lol that's so funny
and to be honest, i don't remember that and i think i never come across such silly anime fans before.

I am sure there are many
Like the eye color and the character . If someone don't like them then they won't watch them.

Loudest silly complaint I hear about anime is why can't they put it in english first and do japanese and other languages later.

There are lot of people who think english is the world's language and expect everything to cater to it.

it's just most used online
and there is nothing special to it and it's like any other language lol

That an episode was delayed or badly done. First world problems indeed, specially for animes that are done in a week or two.

When there's a slight change/difference between anime/manga that doesn't affect the anime or doesn't fit the medium. The worst of it was when Mob S2E5 came out, it was among the best animated episodes ever and manga purists complained about some changes. They were clowned of course but yeah.

lol it's their way of making the original stay
i am not one of those manga purists like you put it but people shouldn't complain about good changes.

This might seem rather silly to others, but sometimes dubbing changes actually *are* worth commenting on, imo. Especially some of what Crunchyroll has done in the past. Miss Kobayashi, anyone?

That was Funimation, I think they were trying to cater to the SJW crowd, and failed at it.

The only change up they did to try and be hip that I wasn’t upset over was in season 2 of Kaguya-sama where they made 2 social distancing jokes. They weren’t too far off from the original dialog anyway.

“Why are you standing so far away from me?”

Became

“What’s with the social distancing?”

And

“Boys and girls will not be allowed within x meters from each other”

Became

“Boys and girls will partake in a social distance of 6 feet from each other”

It’s like, okay whatever, not a big deal.
