Should I resume reading Bleach?

I am more of a reader than watcher...
So is the Bleach manga good?
I was think of starting to read it
Actually I did read few 100 chapters few months ago
But is it okay to keep reading or is the anime absolutely more preferable?
Don't go with the former part just because you dislike reading or love watching...
