Shonen and Seinen, representation from the author

There is a wide gap between those two, especially about the vibe of the series. I always easily get annoyed with Shonen and usually i have a thing or two to critic them, but with Seinan the opposite happened, i usually just give positive respond and give them high score.

Let's see.. Shonen usually give the audience subtle message about the power of promise, friendship, never give up.. and i mostly annoyed by them, it's not like Seinan never touch those things too, but the way Naruto shouting about never give up really annoyed me than the way Kei Chrono doing it.

Hm.. i think maybe it's because how the author represent the story and character to the audience, i always have the feeling that they tried to give me a lesson when watching Shonen, like..
Hey.. you want to get strong? Then eat a lot like Goku
Hey.. friendship is important, look.. Naruto never give up on Sasuke
Hey.. don't forget to help people in need like Luffy
Hey.. always do something that you think right even it's makes you stubborn like uhm.. well.. lot of characters
And believe it or not this annoyed me a lot

On the other hand... On a series like Inuyashiki, Ressentiment, Nozoki Ana, they also have life lesson on it similar to Shonen but i never felt like they giving me lesson, so i catch different kind of vibe from Seinan.

So that's my conclusion, how the author represent their work give that much differences on the end result

People do tend to compare others with main protagonists most of the time. Well, they do have some good qualities in them.
The only drawback is the repetitiveness.  I got fed up with Naruto's talk-no-jutsu, like Madara stated before :D

Haha.. i mean.. the while series, series in Shonen like trying to give me life lesson, i seriously can feel it, but on Seinen i never felt that kind of vibe

Most of the seinen shows are dark.
They are not meant for kids and to give them morals. They are like movies with a deep story.

I see.
Well, after watching Tokyo ghoul, I never wanted to watch such dark anime again.

you are right.
seinen never cares about how things would look in the adult world .
you see how many people drift apart with time
