Shojo anime getting underrated?

i think this is the case
why do you think people don't generally like shojo? because of all the drama in it?
 
I believe so.
There are too many things going wrong when it comes to this genre and not everyone is fond of that drama
 
Shojo is underrated because like shonen, people don’t know what it actually is.

Shojo is a target demographic and means young girl, and not whatever variations of romance/soap opera.

this i have to agree.
usually they have highschool romance. like god of water or any other manhwa like love in the mask, goong etc are like that.

Technically manhwa wouldn't be shoujo because it's A: not a manga, and B: Korean.

It's kind of weird to use a Japanese word to describe something that's not Japanese.

i think they are almost the same
alright then i will go with only japanese, like skip beat? it's a manga and it's about how a 16 year gold made a come back.
 
They are not very interesting when compared to action anime. I would have agreed if it's some other genre but considering everything, I don't think shojo is underrated.
 
Shojo is not underrated.
You don't see them having less rating and it depends on the demographics.
 
i agree with rinko yoshida
it's not too underrated i think if you like to see the demographics and target audience.
