Hi Team,

GoDaddy changed our website server and because of that, we have lost close to 400 posts or so. More like we have lost 4 days worth of posts and new accounts. I apologize for this inconvenience.

Please note that, we wouldn't be getting anymore of these unpleasant surprises, as the activity is completed successfully and everything is working.
If you face any issues, just contact me or send an email to us and we will try to solve it as soon as possible.

That really sucks we lost some data, glad to hear things are sorted though as I was getting 404 errors trying to access the site yesterday.

Having to do it manually is a pain, but if you can get it into a routine, it's not as bad.

Also the data is like 3 gb or so for the entire DB...so.....

you only need to back up the mysql database daily that contains all the member/post data. My site is 100 hundred times bigger than this place and it's 500 MB for the actual post data.

Gaming latest got close to 400000 posts and that's stretching this place twice. It's a good website however.

Gaming latest got close to 400000 posts and that's stretching this place twice. It's a good website however.

that's the latest backup of all my forum's posts. If anything happens, that file would restore all site's posts. Granted, the actual site itself (software, addons, images) does get a few GB heavy.
