Sequel? Not too interesting..

I'm not a fan of sequel series, especially when the sequel have no significant thing than the prequel. I talk about this because of Dragon Ball Super. I admit it that DBS was entertaining but basicly it's not that good, what i meant is.. DBS still have same concept with DBZ, in this case DBGT doing better job despite their non-canon status.

Then there is this Boruto, i haven't watch anything about it but i hope that it won't revolved around Uzumaki's, Uchiha's, Failed Beast and Sharingan too much. But since the series give new characters in new different generation then i think the author can present us with something different, unlike DBS

Well so i think.. sequel is never be a good idea to begin with, whenna series end then that means it end, that's what makes a series memorable and valuable

Most of the sequels are good.
Sometimes they are not that great but then again, we tend to compare them to their prequels.

That's true because naturally they are under the shadow of their prequels, but that's exactly my point.. sequel must be given new thing so they can stand on equal ground with their prequels.

Look at DBS, everything is still the same with DBZ

Well, many sequels let people down because of very high expectations.
Not all the sequels can be compared to their prequels but if you compare them to other anime, they are not bad at all :D

Yes. The only anime that I have heard, which is better than the prequel is 'boku no hero academia'.
According to Madara it is getting better and better with each season.

It's on going anime right? On going status is big hindrance for me to enjoy newer series

Indeed :D
I haven't been following it either. I will have to pick up that anime, from season 2 at some point.

Even is it the most popular one?
It's been a long time since we came across series, having this sort of popularity.

Yes even if it's popular. I feel like 'ugh' waiting for new episodes, especially if the series always get help, it makes me forget the last story when the new episode released. So i prefer completed one

That's understandable.
Does it apply to completed seasons as well? Each season will be like... the end of an arc :D

I see.
It will take one piece forever to get completed. As for hero academia, I am not at all sure :D

I'm fine with waiting hehe..
By the way.. i actually read One Piece until Luffy and Zoro meet Nami, and then read some random chapters at chapter 300+ to asses the series

I'm not sure what you are talking about. DBS and Boruto are not just sequels they are entirely new series whereas the the sequels to My Hero Academia merely continue whatever were left. So that's an entirely different case. And the commonality between DBS and Boruto is that they were created after the manga itself was completed and let's be honest to milk whatever's possible from the fanbase.

I see.
Then you might have come across major spoilers in my posts. Do you intend to pick it up again?

So that's why DBS pretty much the same like DBZ, i like DBGT better because there are lot of thing developed
Well i hope that Boruto pick up different theme than Naruto was, Uchiha and Sharingan is already old, i hope that they give more room to Byakugan

No DBZ is a bit different. DBZ was still DB, it was called that way in the US, and continues from the manga. DB and DBZ are like Naruto and Naruto Shippuuden.
And no Boruto doesn't concentrate on the Byakugan all that much, there's new set of Eye Jutsus now and to be honest it's not all that cool anymore, the Byakugan.

I don't know that in the US DBZ was called DB, the marketing strategy seems different for US
That's unfortunate.. i like Byakugan so much
