Secrets in many anime

Main protagonist having many secrets is quite common man. But his entire life being a lie is weird.
I saw it from some anime, where all the memories he had were implanted. I don't remember the anime name. Do you know what I am talking about here?
 
ahh damn I think I do know what you're talking about but I can't remember the name either. Usually though they make for great plot twists.

I think it's an anime that I have dropped. 
I don't remember the anime but it's a favorite anime of Jupiter zero user
It's been a very long time and I vaguely remember stuff

I'm trying to find it, but there is a anime with the same search name making it hard to pin.

I haven't seen the anime in question but this plot line is normally a good indication of a great story

I got mixed feelings for this man. It's not exactly great but I want to rewatch it
 
There are two types, secrets of MC's we know but they are secretive, like Light and Lelouche with their identities, and MC's who are mysterious as a whole to everyone(including the audience as well obviously), like Ayanokouji from Classroom of the Elite and Tatsuya from Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei.
