It's not adaptation from game but RPG's theme run thick in this anime, you named it.. sword, magic, dragon, mecha, space ship, higher entity being and heavy plot all together mixed in one.
The story is about Pacifica Casull, a princess who cast away from her royal family since she was born because of the prophecy from a major religious cult that she will destroy the world when she turn 17. Later on Pacifica adopted by a simple family, and hunt down by the king to kill her before her 17th birthday. What will happen next? You should watch it yourself.
Scrapped Princess is surprisingly good, especially the story. The series also full of philosopical thinking but lack drama, and like typical japanese RPG, everything Will revealed near the end of story, and this one have big element of surprise, yup as expected from an anime with storyline as their strongest point.
