do you think samurai would ever stand a chance. do not think of gintama and look in terms of general things
 
Samurai and military?
I can't pick one but military got a better of chance of winning than Samurai.

In some old era anime, they do utilize them
Now though, it's completely different and they can't do much against the guns.
 
i agree with that
sword is good but guns can kill people without even having anything to do with the skill.
