Sacrificial characters in anime....

There are characters that we know from the beginning, who will die and give some sort of boost to the main protagonist's will. 
Well, Ace is pretty much a sacrificial character and he is from one piece.

Honestly I thought he was gonna get defeated by sasuke.i never thought he would die ya know.... If anything, I thought Naruto would stop Sasuke from killing itachi

He didn't think he committed any mistake though. He thought by making Sasuke kill him he'd make him strong, and that'd make him go back to the village and serve. But terrible things happened when Sasuke learnt his truth.

Well he didn't....I don't know...it's a mess to keep on thinking about that sort of stuff....

Naruto is an idiot and his ideals doesn't even come close to reality ya know.
At that point...I am not so sure what would have prevented the war between the uchihas and the villagers.
