He is the ultimate rival of sakuragi but he never acknowledged sakuragi as his rival. His skills are far superior than sakuragi and he always keeps to himself. His teamwork is good but not great.
If anything, he tries to everything by himself.

What do you think of him?
 
He got sasuke's voice and he barely spoke a few lines in the entire anime. it's not enough to judge a character. What little I knew of him made him look like a self-centered spoiled brat.
 
Even so, he is the ultimate rival for sakuragi hanamichi and his skills are really good and he got a natural talent.
