Miura was born on July 11, 1966 in Chiba prefecture. He made his professional manga debut with the "Futatabi…" (Once More…) story in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 1985.

Miura then published the one-shot version of the Berserk manga in Hakusensha's Monthly Comicomi magazine in 1988. He launched the full Berserk manga series in Hakusensha's Monthly Animal House magazine in 1989, and the series continued in Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine until now. It has over 40 million copies in circulation.

Sadly Miura would be unable to finish his Berserk series.

Its sad to see a legendary anime writer passing away at an early age of 54. His absence will be felt so high, especially for those who enjoys his amazing anime magazine.

Its a sad one indeed to come to learn or hear that a well-known person in the guise of Miura have passed away. Manga reality-show industry will miss him.

That's life, surely another writer will take over his position to enjoy glorious times. Our heart will always stay on for Miura, he's a legendary figure in the manga industry.
