Revenge matches in sports anime

They are really something.
Most of the time it's the main protagonist that wins....well, otherwise people wouldn't like it...but still these matches are very exciting. What do you guys think?

i like them and they are fun to watch. one defeat should make people practice more and try very hard in getting the next win. i am not looking out for these matches but as someone said above, they are fun to watch.
