Preferred Weapon in Anime?

Of all the weapons in anime, which one do you like?  Do you like more than one?  Why do you like it?

i don't like weapons at all. don't see the point of them when i like yaoi and shonen ai anime

I always like swords, but granted I do enjoy an oversized weapon of mass destruction that would turn the world upside down.

if i have to choose a weapon, i will be aiming for a gun. it would let me be at a safe distance and there is no point in actually coming close to the enemy and losing the weapon.
