i don't know lol
there are times when i have done both but now i don't care about either of them

It's just a bunch of battle anime nerds arguing over who's stronger than who.
Oh, Thank you. I think I get it now. I am assuming the people that go into super details as why they think, for example, that Goku is stronger than Superman.

In that case I think Powerscalers are more likely to act cringey. Not saying shippers can't be cringe, but I feel there is more tolerance in the spectrum before reaching that point. Some shippers admit is their own headcanon and that's enough. It is only the very extreme that tries to shove it down others or become disruptive.

I feel like just itself, taking seriously the question of what character will win automatically makes it cringe. And from there the scale just shoots when they start talking in detail on how the supposed battle between the characters will go.

Ultimately both groups can be quite obnoxious in a comment section if too many gather, haha.

That's pretty much it in a nutshell. I remember being in awe that the DBZ community goes super hard on it, and there's literally a fucking blog that does calculations for power levels.

that's cringe.
most people worship goku as the god of the universe and he can even beat god characters like actual gods in anime.

It's shipping for me.
I can argue with people who compare power but I can't deal with people who ship people just because they want the people to end up together. I am a shipper myself but I don't argue with mangaka's decisions like others and keep to myself.
