Possessive vs overbearing in manga

I like some possessive traits for a character when it serves as a balance to the romantic interest, especially when the story shows clearly that there are genuine care and affection and usually those characters learn to respect their loved one and trust in them. Possessive yet trusting can be portrayed quite sexily in manga. Like telling a conniving up-to-no-good character to back off their flirting with [x naive love interest] because he belong to him. 

A character that goes too far and is only thinking on himself and the other character is trying to please him and show him and taking all the abuse, no way that's a big turn off for me. I can't root for them to be together at all. I guess many master-slave manga dynamics work with that.

 I can't stand when all one side does is giving despective and dismissive talk to the other. Very rarely I feel like sticking around with the protagonist to fulfill that dream to msmske the other be heads over hills. I am fine wwith courting a cold character but no one actively just trying to hurt the other.

then you wouldn't like many webtoons like killing stalking? did you hear anything about this webtoon?
 
No. I haven't heard about it. If the plot is really good, who knows I might actually get into it. Do you think I shoukd give it a fair go?

i liked it but it might not be good for you. are you into torture and murders?
