There are new seasons you know..ongoing ones. I don't think it's as good as long time's but it's ok

I dropped it a long time ago, and I'm not a fan of its current style.

why not? It's not that bad in my opinion

I got bored when Ash and Pikachu skills would reset every season.

Oh I see but doesn't that make it more interesting and fresh?

I don’t think so. Ash has gone through x many Pokémon leagues, so the fact that he goes back to dumb noob mistakes and forgetting the fundamentals of being a Pokémon trainer each time he goes to a new area is really dumb. “Waaat? Pikachu is bad against ground types?”

Also Pikachu should be at level 100 by now, and still gets owned by weak Pokémon. So it doesn’t feel like either character is progressing.

Well I suppose if you look at it realistically like that you have a point but I still seem to like it. I do find certain things to be stupid and trust me I harp about it to my family lol. I think that for me the best would always the first season with "you're my best friend" theme song.
I also wonder why pikachu hasn't evolved yet...it's like soooooo long and he's still the same

Pikachu needs a thunderstone to evolve, so it’s not like some of the other Pokémon who evolve just through leveling up.
