Pokemon games and digimon games.

I have heard of some rumor like "Pokemon games are a bit similar to digimon games".


Honestly, pokemon and digimon are two complete worlds, according to me. So, there is no way, a pokemon game can resemble a digimon game.

The only thing that is common, in both pokemon and digimon games is the "evolution" concept.
What about you guys? What is your opinion?

In digimon you also roam a world and collect different digimon, so they share that as well as leveling them up and teaching them new moves. Plus saving the world from evil with the digimon you collect. And pokmeon only recently started to do evolution.

So they are a lot alike at the core.

pokemon isn't similar to digimon games. pokemon are real in that world and digimon are something created and vanished at the end. have you watched all the digimon series?
