Plane crash... And Let's talk about the elephant in the room

So the other day.....an airplane carrying hundreds of people crashed. It's so heartbreaking and I couldn't even look at the actual crash site photos and videos.

It must have been heartbreaking for all those families! However there were nasty comments about it... Just because most of them are Indians and it's an Indian airplane.

Seriously? I usually try to avoid these topics but I don't really get the hate towards Indians. There are pathetic scammers out there but not all the Indians are scammers. Wish punishment on those pathetic losers but hating the entire country and the population?

Yup the hygiene can be questionable at some parts but as an Indian, I wouldn't even want to go to those places! Go to decent restaurants, although it's expensive, the food can be decent and clean!

Not everyone can afford stuff! If you feel that everyone should be able to afford clean and high end food .. Then you are being nothing but an entitled brat!
If someone's selling something at an unhygienic place, why would you want to give it a try?
I have cleanliness obsession. I usually wash even the vegetables and fruits with soap .. That drives my family crazy, I had to take bath right after getting back from a public place....
If I ever to judge from my standards, only a handful of people are clean! Do I do that? Nope. Just because my brain overanalyze stuff doesn't mean anything!
So, just because you are used to something doesn't mean the entire world should follow those standards!

I know people who struggle just to survive. I feel bad for them but I don't mock them... May be because I am a human????

The other day, someone asked me if I can do something immoral for money... My answer was a big fat 'No'
I am raised by a teacher(Well my mum is a headmistress now) . My moral compass is pretty high. I am sure there are lots of people out there, who feels the same.

So, don't lump people into one category just because you came across a rotten creature before!

Such creatures exist in every country, ethnicity.. Whatnot. However, the decent people exists in every country and ethnicity as well.
Learn to accept that!!!!
Who even celebrates and mocks people's death just because they are from a certain country?

That's just disgusting and .... makes ... Them nothing but disgusting scum...

Sorry guys.. Just wanna vent a bit. I am an emapth and this incident is just driving me crazy...
I don't get how people can be so insensitive and claim they are from a moral high ground!

that's so disheartening and people can be monsters too. i think it's the mob scenario. hating something in common make them feel close which is just sad and disgusting.

this too and most of the time people who get scammed are elderly and that makes others hate the entire ethnicity even more. i know an old woman who lost everything and had to go to food bank. it's so sad but hating an entire country is something i wouldn't do.
unclean food videos usually get views and people get their knowledge from them. something normal usually wouldn't generate waves but something disturbing and disgusting can.

I honestly look forward toward a day when we as a species can look beyond the color of somebody's skin and judge them to eternal damnation. There is nothing virtuous about being a bigot, and the haters who are screaming slurs about innocent people who have died, deserve a fate far worse than death itself.

There were other comments about hygiene mentioned, and while I know that Claraviolent is calling out the haters who bag on different cultures, it's probably entitled United States citizens who are doing the most hating. We, in America, are extremely privileged to be able to not give a [redacted] about our water, we assume it's clean and it is plentiful. We're the rich, spoiled brats of the world, and most of us live in a [redacted] bubble, never leaving our homeland. People need to understand that in areas of the world where water is precious, it's not wasted on frivolous things, like excessive bathing. In fact, many cultures believe that Americans bathe entirely too much!

I'm not even going to get into the more illicit activities that were brought up. People do horrible things in the name of survival...well, that and greed.

May all those innocent people who's lives were cut short be blessed with all they deserve in the afterlife and beyond.

I do get it. I lost my life savings before and I know how hard it could get. I hate those people who wants others hard-earned money through tricks. They are just disgusting!

I kinda use too much water as well. I try not to but... In our home we have 2 aquaguard machines to filter out the ground water and to add extra minerals as well.

However, not many people can afford it. I got too used to it and even now I use britta water filter in the UK. I just can't bring myself to consume tap water ;_; .

Not everyone is privileged and I know my parents especially my mum struggled a lot to provide a comfortable life for me and my sister. I know people who barely earns like 5 usd a day. They can't really afford high end food or completely filtered water.
Everything is just survival to them. Most of the street food is usually consumed by them.

They can handle it and but not everyone can. So wherever I see such mockery, I feel really bad for those people and I don't get the hatred even more. It's one thing to look down on people and it's an entirely different thing to hate them! I wish people could choose the lesser evil in this scenario.
