Personal policy when i choose a series

I already mention this many times before but today i want to specifically talk about it

I do have strict policy to not follow ongoing series. Why is that? I'm well aware that my policy makes me less updated from other people, when people talking about new series with excitement.. i still talking about the older one

But i'm totally fine with that. What more important to me is enjoyment. I'll take DBS and Kingdom as example it was so much fun and excited when i did the catching up with the series, i binge watch them everyday, it's so fun and the mood is actually there. And what happened when i already catch up with the series? I must wait a week for new episode

It's such a killjoy for me. Waiting for a week really kill the mood for me. To be honest i feel less excitement to those series now, i even stop Kingdom to accumulate decent amount of chapters to binge

So that's it about my policy

By the way.. despite all this talking, i have lot of ongoing series on my pocket :
Dragon Ball Super, Kingdom, Hunter x Hunter, Giant Killing, Captain Tsubasa golden 23, Attack on Titan, D.Grayman
There is 7. It's a lot for me, and i don't have plan to add more series

you are always picky when it comes to selecting anime.
i never expected you to like d gray man so much and even attack on titan too.

I thought usually I am the picky one and drop a series .
I like your policy. It's good to be picky.

Oh.. so you're like that. What kind of series would you drop?

Anything that is too long
Or if I find something boring. Slow series are not for me.

Okay noted. What kind of series are for you then?

Any cool series and exciting ones
More like Haikyuu and it's a cool series and I would probably start reading manga for it.

I thought that you're not into sports genre

These are my favorite series.
1. Shonen
2. Action
2. Shounen ai
4. Sports
5. Slice of life
Everything else is after these

I have a ton of other time consuming hobbies, so my watch policy is largely just sticking to my comfort zone genres, and avoiding genres I know I already don't like.

I like watching a bunch of comedies, I'm a slut for the cheese factor in romcoms, and slice of life comedies.

I tried watching Gintama back in college, I got like 50 episodes in, but finals week happened, so I never got back. Next thing I knew there were already like 300 episodes.
